A strong sense of number underpins much of the maths work we do in schools. Knowing number facts are particularly useful when calculating and having a strong foundation in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, will support your child with their maths learning.

Number facts are taught in school but also need to be practised at home as part of weekly home learning, from Reception to Year 6. The children must know number facts inside out, back to front and with instant recall!
