At our school we believe in filling each year with moments that children will remember. Enrichment is part of everyday life and brings joy, creativity, confidence and community into everything we do.
Our calendar includes charity days, creative activities, physical challenges and events that celebrate reading. These experiences help children discover new talents, explore new interests and feel proud of themselves.
We also come together as a community for events such as our Macmillan Afternoon Tea, where families join us for cakes, conversation and fundraising. Children take part in national events including the BBC 500 Words Writing Competition, World Book Day, Safer Internet Day and Children’s Mental Health Week.
Visitors add to our creative learning. Projects with artists such as Darrell Wakelam and Jon the Potter give pupils the chance to build, sculpt and create something unique. Activities like Boogie Bounce and our popular Maths Rocks sessions add energy and fun to the school day.
Charity and community spirit are important to us. Children enjoy events such as Children in Need, Christmas Fun Day and our busy Summer Fun Day, which help them learn about kindness, generosity and teamwork.
These opportunities help pupils grow personally as well as academically, building confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging.
