Welcome to Year 3!

Over the next 4 or so weeks, we will be stepping way back in time to find out who Britain’s first people were. How do we know? What evidence is there? How has the geography of the planet changed since the Stone Age?

Our children will also be introduced to a rather special chap…

Year 3 Times Table Treasure Hunt

We took advantage of the lovely sunny weather and went for a times table treasure hunt around Forest School! Look at how much fun we had!

Year 3 Healthy School week

As part of healthy schools week, we got to take part in tow workshops to learn ho to keep our bodies healthy. One workshop looked at what sorts of food we should eat to stay healthy and in the other workshop we played the famous Harry Potter game, “Quidditch.”

Year 3 Art Week- Gaudi

In Art week, we looked at the work of Spanish artist, Gaudi. Over the two days we created our on tile mosaics, researched Gaudi and designed some of our own patterns. As a year group we created a giant Lizard mosaic!

Year 3 Skipping

We have been very lucky over the past six weeks and have had two lovely ladies called Rachel and Stacey come and teach us a range of skipping skills.  Here are some pictures of us showing off our new skills and taking part in some team games!

Marvellous Med Finale- Year 3

We had a grand finale to end our Marvelous Med topic. We sampled a range of food from Greece, Italy, France and Spain. Also, we made flags, drew the Eiffel Tower and did some of favourite Gaudi art!
