Holywell Primary and Nursery School

Welcome to Nursery

At the start of your child’s journey through education, we offer your child the opportunity to flourish and grow through child initiated play in a welcoming, friendly and interactive environment. The children have free flow access to both the indoor and outdoor environment and they also get to explore our two forest school sites weekly.

The Nursery Team are Mrs Wootton, Mrs Barnard, Mrs Williamson, Mrs Spears and Mrs Hellingsworth.

Mrs Watkins, our Foundation Stage Leader takes the children to Forest Schools on Wednesdays (alternative half terms).

At Holywell we pride ourselves on child led planning, whereby the children have an input into the topics taught throughout the year. This half term the children in Nursery were keen to learn about their favourite stories, you can see our topic plan here: topic plan Autumn 1
