Easter Bonnet Parade

Didn’t Nursery and Reception look amazing in their Easter Bonnets?  We showed them off to everyone in assembly and enjoyed a parade around school.  Thank you to all the mummies, daddies, grandparents and other carers who worked with the children to make such wonderful hats.

Mindfulness Week

Reception really enjoyed Mindfulness week.  We practised yoga, learnt to breath calmly and how to massage ourselves.  We also had a special session with two visitors and older children mentors.  The teddy-tation was our favourite!

Chinese New Year

Reception and Nursery really enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year on Thursday 2nd Feb.  We tasted different foods, made decorations, practised using chopsticks, played Chinese music for a Dragon Dance outside and even built our very own Great Wall of China!

Sports for Schools

Reception really enjoyed our Sports for Schools morning.  We loved completing the circuits and then listening to swimmer Amy Smith talking about the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.  It was a real treat to see her special medals.

2JT Mole Hill Castles

Class 2JT had a fantastic time at Forest School making Mole Hill castles.  We counted over 200 mole hills on the field and decided to make castles on them using different materials we could find.  The results were amazing.

RPS Snow Fun

Ahoy me Pirates!
