Y5 Space Centre Visit

Wow! What a wonderful day that was! On the 14th Feb Year 5 visited the National Space Centre in Leicester. We were all blown away by what we saw and the amazing experiences we had. It started as soon as we arrived when we went into a mind-blowing planetarium exhibit, which took us on a trip through the Solar System. When that had finished we visited the rest of the museum and explored lots of different things. We saw two enormous rockets and climbed to the top of a very tall tower to experience how big they really were. We got to climb into model escape pods and pretend we were in the ISS. We also were lucky enough to present the weather.
