Children across the Key Stages were asked to enter a competition to celebrate the opening of Clent Hills Vets Practice in Rubery. The children were challenged to draw pictures of animals that would go to the vets. Originally there was to be a winner and runner-up from each Key Stage, but the vets practice was overwhelmed with the quality and number of entries, so added some additional prizes!
The winners from Foundation Stage were: Reece (winner) and Olivia May (runner-up), Key Stage One: Maisie (winner) and Stanley (Runner-up), Lower Key Stage Two: Ella-Mai (winner) and Sophia (runner-up), Upper Key Stage Two: Finley (winner) and Kirsty (runner-up). A special mention was given to Ellie (Year 6) for her amazing canvas which will be displayed in reception in the vets practice. Prizes included book tokens, a Clent Hills Vets goody bag full of art materials, a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the vets surgery with their families, and to have their art work displayed on the wall in the vets waiting room. All other entries will be displayed in a folder in the waiting room for the vet clients to look at.
The entries were all amazing. Well done to everyone who entered and to all the winners!
