This year’s school games were again very competitive and enjoyable for all. Once again, children signed up or ran heats to decide which events they took part in. Some children have competed in these games for a few years now, and decided to attempt to defend their titles or records. For others, it was a chance to have a go at a different challenge. Year 3 were competing in their first KS2 school games. To quote Year 3 children, it was ‘Epic!’ Well done to all who took part, and thank you parents for coming along to support your children.
Well done to Jasmine B and Ross, who became this year’s champion athletes. And also to Oak, who were this year’s overall winners, retaining the trophy they won in 2015.
It was all too much for some!
